It was impossible to find a pastry cloth locally, so I was quite pleased when I found this one, reasonably priced on Amazon.com. I ordered 4 so I will never have the difficulty again, and they are exactly what I wanted and needed. The stockinette (as all of them do) tends to ravel at the ends, so I deducted a star only for that.

Very happy with the pastry cloth and rolling pin cover. However, the rolling pin cover is longer than my yellow rolling pin. It still does the same job, so I don't really care. My pie dough still tastes good! The cloth is a very good size; it fits well on my granite counter top. Buy one and do some good cooking!

I'm from a family of cooks not bakers so I've never even heard of a pastry cloth! But I love kitchen gadgets and came across this product while just browsing. I decided to give it a try and now I can't imagine how to do without it. Making a really wet& sticky dough for Popeye's biscuit use to take me forever. Now I've cut down my prep. time 75% and my frustration level down 100%. The biscuit were also bigger using the pastry cloth because I didn't lose any dough that use to stick to my work surfaces.

Used it to roll a pumpkin cake log. Some of the cake stuck to the cloth because I didn't put enough powdered sugar on it (on purpose), and I let it cool off rolled up in the pastry cloth before I made my filling. I stuck the cloth in warm water and it was really easy to rinse out and clean. I really didn't even soak it first. The only problem was I still had to scrub off some cloth fuzz balls, but it really was easy to do. I'm assuming that it had fuzz balls because it was the first time I cleaned it.

The cloth is so big that I folded the cloth in half and floured one side to make the biscuits. Then I folded the cloth in the opposite direction and sprinkled powdered sugar on it for the pumpkin roll. The cloth fold in half was still big enough and sturdy enough that I could just cover my 10" x 15" jellyroll pan and easily flip the cake over.

I like that it's made in the USA. The pastry cloth (20" x 24") is made out of a canvas-like material & has sewn edges. I haven't used the rolling pin cover yet, but it seems to be made out of a stretchy kind of knit. The knit reminds me of the material used by my hospital to make a hat for my newborn babies 19+ years ago.

I haven't tried pie crusts either, but I can't imagine that it would be harder than working with the super sticky Popeye dough. At last, I think I'll be able to judge different crust recipes based on the recipe itself, rather than me over working the dough. (I've used same recipes more than once and still ended up with different results so it wasn't the recipe that was bad).

SO inexpensive for such a super handy product! Knowing how much easier it made things for me, I would have willing paid more for it and gotten it years ago!

I can't believe i've never used one of these before! Rolling out dough was SO easy, hassle free, and not frustrating in the least. I planned an entire morning to work with my dough, but it took way less time than i ever imagined to complete my pastry. highly recommended!!

These babies are hard to clean. They are large so they don't perfectly fit in my medium-sized dishwasher. They are too floppy to clean by hand without placing them on the bottom of the sink-- ew! The labels are also starting to wash off after only a few times in the dishwasher. I think they will last a while but they are definitely fading.

I bought a set of these at a high end discount store!! I loved them so much that I wanted to share them! I gave 2 away and the third one I used till it's sad end!
The company I work for uses award points through Amazon!! HURRAY!! There were my favorite cutting boards waiting for me to choose them.
I placed my order yesterday and cannot wait to enjoy them once again! I have always put mine in the dishwasher and have never had a problem. They are lightweight and have a large cutting surface. Then you simply fold them over and transfer to your stock pot! You can even roll your pie crusts out on them.

I ordered these because I needed to spend $5 more to qualify for free shipping on something I really wanted. I liked that they were all the same color with a different color symbol on them for meat, fish, and vegetables.

They slip all around the counter while cutting. Obviously they don't have a reservoir so they get pretty wet too (trailing off onto the counter and making it sticky).

They are flexible and easy to throw everything in a pot at once. They don't show any wear from my chopping knife after several uses.

I punched a hole in each and have them hanging from a hook above the counter. It keeps them handy.

Make sure you dry them well and leave them separated or it will defeat the purpose of having separate ones.

They are cheap and cheaply made, but they get the job done.

these mats are easily cleaned, protect surfaces, and very user friendly around the kitchen, funneling chopped foods into bowls and pots.
