I had the older white one. I liked it while it lasted. It worked well for rolling out pie crusts. But we had to throw it away after the material started separating. It appeared to be made of several layers of the same material (as opposed to layers of different materials e.g., plastic and reinforcing fibers).
I am now going to try one of the silicone ones. Unfortunately, I can’t do the pinch test on the silicone if I order online. The pinch test is where you crease the silicone material tightly by pinching it between 2 fingers. If the crease temporarily turns white, it’s an indication that the material includes some filler rather than being pure silicone.

I love it. I had a white one from a long time ago and I have look for another for years. Everybody that makes, dought for cookies, bread or anything else has to have one of these.

This mat paired with the Rolling Pin, Non-Stick Polyethylene, 16″ L. No Handle create great pastry effortlessly. Nothing sticks to this mat or the rolling pin. Very little flour is needed which avoids tough pie crusts. My pastries and biscuits come out perfect every time.
This mat is durable so the CIA Masters Collection 11 Piece Round Cutter Set that I use do not damage it. Some silicone mats I have used in the past do not tolerate cutting dough on them at all. Not a problem for this quality mat.
For storage I just roll the pin in the mat and place in the drawer below my fridge. Storage is neat and compact.
I am so happy I purchased these.

I make pies and biscuits a lot and loved my old tupperware pastry sheet — until someone set a hot cookie sheet on top of it! This newer model is thicker and provides a real nice surface for rolling out dough. The one thing I miss, very much, is the grid that helped mark out every two inches across — that was great for guiding the slicing of cinnamon rolls.
